Racquet Sports

The Club attracts an avid and passionate tennis and paddle membership. Our programs offer a great variety of opportunities for both competitive and recreational players. With two indoor bubbled courts and 11 professionally maintained Har-Tru tennis courts, two which are lighted for evening play, PCC tennis players can play year-round day and night.

Chris Gilroy, Racquets Director, leads a fully-certified staff of enthusiastic and energetic tennis professionals who cater to all ages, from the beginner to the nationally-ranked player. The teaching program offers both private and group lessons. There are regular call-in clinics for all levels of play on both weekdays and weekends. High-energy cardio clinics are also available for those looking to increase their fitness as well as their tennis games.

The Club has a full schedule of tournaments and events that are both competitive and social for all levels of play. Our tennis teams also compete in the Metropolitan Inter- Club Tennis League, the Westchester County Tennis League and the United States Tennis League for Men and Women.

The Club takes great pride in creating a fun and safe environment for junior tennis players aged 4 through 16. Through the Summer Tennis Academy, Chris and his staff focus on the importance of sportsmanship and other character-building tools that are so important on and off the court. The program is fun-filled but focuses on developing the skills of junior players through lessons, clinics, ladder competition, tournaments and inter-club matches in the Junior MITL League. The Tennis Tykes Program for 4 and 5-year-olds offers a fun introduction to our future players.

In support of the Club's green initiatives, we encourage all members and guests to bring a reusable water container to the Club when planned activities include the use of recreational facilities.
